After our South Pacific cruise ship landed in Seattle we decided to take a little road trip through Washington to see what the state had to offer. It is safe to say we are already planning a return trip that is sure to be full of sleeping under the stars, hiking, coffee, and walking around the little coastal villages. As first timers we stayed for a few days in Leavenworth, Washington a little Bavarian village a couple hours away from Seattle. This was such a fun experience! There was a Mayfair going on and a St.Bernard dog convention happening at the same time. We loved walking around and seeing the ginormous Beethoven pups everywhere and people dressed in traditional bavarian garb!
While we were there we dined on a bratwurst inspired pizza at Rudloofs Pizza and Brats, had delicious caramel lattes at the Gingerbread Factory (oh and of course gingerbread cookies to die for!!), and of course stopped for ice cream. All in all we had such a fabulous and unique time at this adorable little village. We hope you love a few of the images we snapped while perusing the village. Although I did leave my camera at home most of the time (focusing on my lovely husband!).
