Last weekend we had the pleasure of spending the day exploring Columbus, Georgia with Caroline & Kevin. While Caroline & Kevin were getting ready for the shoot Tommy & I headed to Midtown Coffee House where we sipped on delicious Sweet French Vanilla Lattes. Afterwards we met up with Caroline & Kevin downtown to eat some yummy frozen yogurt at Freeze Frame before heading to Flat Rock State Park.
When Caroline first called me about her engagement photographs she told me she wanted something a bit moodier and wintery because she just loved dead trees…and sipping on hot cocoa (not that I can blame her!). Nothing sounds more romantic then cuddling next to Tommy and sipping hot cocoa with marshmallows. The only problem was when I looked out my window spring had erupted and it seemed every tree was blooming and the birds were chirping songs of spring…it was also 80 degrees! Luckily spring hadn’t quite sprung at Flat Rock and we spend a cloudy afternoon climbing around and just enjoying the scenery.
We hope you enjoy this adorable engagement session with these two lovebirds and their adorable pup Ares. We can’t wait to be a part of their wedding in November! Congratulations Caroline & Kevin y’all seriously were a blast to hang out with.
After devouring some delicious Red Velvet and Strawberry Shortcake frozen yogurt we headed to the other side of the river!
Afterwards Caroline & Kevin told us we had to stop at this hole in the wall fried chicken place by their house! We went and it did not disappoint I am still thinking about their special sauce and deep fried OREOS!
